Colby College students are a smart bunch. More than half of these students rank in the top 10% of their high school class. They are smartly dressed and are high achievers. While mindful of how they present themselves they manage to study, study, study and play at least one club or varsity sport.

Some have skied competitively in the Junior Olympics. Others may even join Colby’s competitive Cycling Club that is gaining position on the national scene. Athletically, a fair number of these Colby students juggle many things successfully.

More than half of these students come from outside New England although a sizeable group says they are from “just outside of Boston.” There is distinct city sophisticate flair to this rural campus.
